How wonderful to know that Franklin has brought out this unusual book on Integrity. Few would have the courage to be so candid. I praise God for Franklin Davidson. It is a good testimony book with an effort to bring in some teaching as well. I know the book will be a blessing to many.
–Valentine Davidar, Former Haggai-lndia Executive Director, and author of Being Made Whole
He challenges leaders as no one has ever done before...
Maybe you did not kill anyone, but you look down on certain people and despise them in your heart? Maybe you did not have pre-marital sex or commit adultery, but you indulged in pornography to fulfill the lust for the opposite sex? Maybe you do not have an idol, but you let worldly things be more important than God even after being born again? Maybe you go for church service in all sincerity, but your mind is occupied with a complex problem you are dealing with? Maybe you do not lie, but you enjoy and indulge in gossip? You laugh at dirty jokes and may crack a few less dirty ones yourself? You are never in time for anything, you are always late even for church?
Whether they will reveal it outwardly or not, Franklin Davidson’s How Bright Is My Light? (A handbook on Integrity to guide leaders through every situation) is undoubtedly going to create an emotional tsunami in the souls of leaders and even mature Christians. He warns of ‘mosquito sins’ that can give us spiritual dengue in our private life, and draw us into Satan’s net and eventually death.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Successful businessman, Haggai leader and faculty, Franklin Davidson, and his wife Cynthia, along with children Anderson and Ann, live in Coimbatore, India
What gives Davidson’s book an edge over most books written so far on Christian integrity, is that he does not write from an ivory tower, but from down there in the den of vice where he once lived a chief offender, until a Savior reached out and pulled him out of the jaws of death.
That exactly is what makes this handbook a compulsory-companion for those yearning for self-improvement. From page one, the human element, and the easy, unashamed style, and flow, establish instant reader connection. Your immediate thought is, "If Franklin can change, why not I?"
He presents transformation as a very desirable and achievable prospect.
