OUR NEW-COVENANT PRIVILEGE

What an Immense privilege we have under the New Covenant to be filled with God's Holy Spirit, every day.

Yet the vast majority of Christians do not live this Spirit-filled life, while many others are deceived by counterfeit experiences. What is the reason for this lack and for the abundance of counterfeits in our day?

One reason is that even though many want to be filled with God's Holy Spirit, they don't have a deep and perpetual thirst for God Himself - and to do His will and pleasure alone in their lives. They remain satisfied with emotional 'highs' without any change in their lives. Thus Satan deceives them.

The abundant life that Jesus offers us can be lived only through being filled with the Holy Spirit constantly.
